Recommendations

• The Comuna 13 tour offers a unique experience and can start anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., with an estimated return between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please note that if the tour ends later, your return to the hotel may be delayed due to city traffic, as the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Additionally, Comuna 13 attracts many visitors on weekends, so we recommend scheduling your tour as early as possible to make the most of your visit.

• To fully enjoy the experience, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes, avoiding sandals or heels. Also, please refrain from bringing jewelry or valuable items.

• Food is included in the experience, so please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions to ensure we can accommodate them accordingly.

• During the visit, we recommend bringing sunscreen and insect repellent, as well as a cap or hat, sunglasses, a light sweater, and an umbrella. The tour will continue rain or shine, so be prepared for changing weather conditions with appropriate protection.

• For your safety, please keep your belongings secure and follow your guide’s instructions at all times. At the end of the tour, double-check that you have all your items with you. In downtown Medellín, which has its own social dynamics, we advise against giving alms to individuals in need.
